Electronic receipts: modern & environmentally friendly

Thousands of receipts are printed every day — documents that often end up in the garbage. This not only pollutes the environment but often also strains the nerves of entrepreneurs and customers. We believe that today there are better, more modern and more resource-efficient ways to hand over receipts to customers. That’s why we developed the electronic receipt (eBeleg), which can be handed over to customers in a wide variety of ways.

The E‑receipt for known customers

You know your customers, for example have their telephone number or e‑mail address? Then you can simply hand out the receipt by:

  • Sms
  • Whatsapp
  • Facebook Messenger
  • E‑Mail or
  • NFC from Smartphone to Smartphone

It’s that easy!

The e‑receipt for anonymous customers

Even anonymous customers can receive their receipts electronically. For this target group we have developed the so-called receipt codes.

Our software provides a unique but short document code for each receipt. Share this code with your customer, for example via a display on your cash register. Your customer can simply scan it and retrieve his e‑receipt at any time.

How does the electronic allocation of documents work?

fiskaly CEO Simon Tragatschnig explains how the electronic receipt works by using obono’s mobile cash register. The technology was awarded theT‑Mobile Environmental and Sustainability Award 2018.
