fiskaly. appoints serial entrepreneur Christian Nentwich as new Chairman of the Board
fiskaly announces the appointment of Christian Nentwich as Chairman of the Board. As well as joining as chairman, he will also invest in the company. This marks a major step in the company's growth strategy following a transformative 2024, during which it grew strongly, expanded into Italy to pioneer cloud fiscalization in the country, and scaled operations with investment from Verdane in June 2024.
Christian Nentwich is a technology entrepreneur with a proven track record of founding, building, and advising successful B2B software companies in data automation, compliance and AI. In his role as Chairman, Nentwich will support the company’s ambitions to lead the fiscal compliance market across Europe.
“I’m grateful to the founding team Johannes, Simon, Patrick, and the team at Verdane for the chance to help turn fiskaly into the leader in the fiscal compliance space across Europe,” said Christian Nentwich. “The company has achieved an incredible amount so far with limited resources, and now has a growing market ahead of it. I’m excited to work with the team as they tackle the challenges that come with scaling up, and grow into the definitive market leader.”
Johannes Ferner, CEO of fiskaly, commented:
We are thrilled to welcome Christian as our new Chairman, complementing the board alongside the founders as well as Verdane. Christian’s deep experience in scaling technology companies, combined with his passion for fostering innovation, makes him the perfect leader for this next chapter in fiskaly’s journey. With his guidance, we are confident in our ability to navigate the challenges of scaling while continuing to deliver cutting-edge fiscal compliance solutions to our customers. Christian’s Chair role will be instrumental as we grow into a European market leader.
