fiskaly continues to strengthen its leadership team with the addition of Albert Kroisleitner as our new VP of Product. With a strong background at the intersection of product management, technology, and high-growth businesses, he brings extensive experience in shaping strategic product roadmaps and delivering impactful solutions. His expertise will be instrumental in driving fiskaly’s mission to simplify fiscal compliance across multiple European markets. In this interview, Albert shares insights into his journey, what excites him about fiskaly, and his vision for the future of our product strategy.
Welcome to fiskaly, Albert! Can you tell us a bit about your background and journey before joining the company?
I’ve spent the majority of my career at the intersection of product management, technology, and high-growth companies. My educational background is in business and technology, which naturally led me into product-focused roles early on. Over the years, I’ve worked with both startups and more established enterprises, focusing on driving product strategy, building cross-functional teams, and delivering solutions for B2B and B2C customers alike.
What drew you to fiskaly, and what excites you most about taking on the role of VP of Product?
I was first drawn to fiskaly because of its strong commitment to innovation in the fiscalization space. The company’s focus on making complex regulatory requirements more accessible for businesses resonated with me. There’s a distinct sense of momentum here—fiskaly is expanding rapidly and navigating multiple European markets. That presents a unique opportunity to tackle challenges that blend technology, regulation, and user experience. The chance to shape a product strategy within a scale-up company, that directly impacts merchants, software providers, and ultimately end consumers across multiple countries is incredibly exciting.
As VP of Product, what are your key priorities and goals?
My main priority is ensuring that our product strategy aligns with our overall company vision. Providing businesses with simple, reliable, and future-proof solutions to handle complex fiscal compliance. Concretely, I will focus on customer centricity, scalability, continuous innovation, and cross-team collaboration.
Product development and strategy is a collaborative effort. What’s your approach to working with different teams across fiskaly?
I believe in building a shared vision that every team can rally behind. That means: regular communication, clear roles and responsibilities, collaborative planning, and open feedback loops.
fiskaly is expanding into new markets, such as Italy. How do you balance scalability with local market needs?
Balancing a broad, scalable product vision with the nuances of local regulation and market requirements is both a challenge and an opportunity. My role is about fostering collaboration, setting a clear strategy, and keeping an ear to the ground so that we can deliver solutions that not only scale effectively, but also feel tailor-made for each market’s needs.
